Say it. Rocky gets it moving. Hold a key and talk.
Rocky sees your screen, explains what you're looking at, and helps you
get things done. You stay in control.
Hold Control–Option, speak, then release. Ask about what's in front of you, or tell Rocky what to do next.
“What does this mean?”
An error, a chart, a confusing paragraph. Circle the part you mean while you talk, and Rocky explains it.
“Safari left. Notes right.”
Put your windows where you want them. Save the arrangement by name and bring it back tomorrow.
“Save this for later.”
Keep a screenshot and tell Rocky why it matters. Find it in your Library by that note or the words in the image.
What Rocky does
Everything starts with your voice. Rocky handles the rest.
Ask about your screen
Hold controloption and talk. Rocky looks at what you're looking at and answers out loud. Circle something with your cursor while you speak and that's the part it looks at.

"That error means the build is missing a signing team. Open the Signing tab and pick yours."
Watch it point
Rocky draws on your screen while it talks. An arrow flies to the thing it means, circles what matters, and labels it in time with the words. Works on any monitor.
Walk through it together
Ask how to do something and Rocky takes it one step at a time. It points at the next thing, waits while you do it, then moves on. No more "third tab, second section, scroll down."
1 Open System Settings
2 Choose Displays
3 Now click Night Shift waiting for you
4 Set your schedule

Put Safari on the left, Notes in the top right, or move a window to another monitor. Arrange windows in halves, quarters and thirds, swap two windows, or undo the last change — all by voice.

Questions
The things people ask before they download it.
Is Rocky watching my screen all the time?
No. Rocky takes a screenshot only when you ask it something that needs one, and it tells you on screen when it does. Apps you mark as protected are left out of the picture, and sensitive text is redacted on your Mac before the image goes anywhere.
Do I need an OpenAI account?
No. Sign in to a Rocky account and choose Rocky Cloud to use Rocky credits, including realtime voice. Your ChatGPT is the other option: it uses your existing paid ChatGPT or Codex plan and needs a one-time Rocky License after the trial. Speech runs on your Mac in that mode; reasoning still uses OpenAI online.
What does it cost?
Use Your ChatGPT free in Rocky for 14 days with your existing qualifying ChatGPT or Codex subscription. After that, a Rocky License is a one-time purchase: $19 for early adopters during the beta, rising to $29 later. Your subscription remains separate. Rocky Cloud comes with starter credits, then uses credits you top up. Running out of Cloud credit does not shorten the 14-day Your ChatGPT trial. Compare the two options.
Can Rocky do something without asking me?
Rocky acts on your request. Everyday actions like moving a window or applying a layout do not need a second confirmation. Actions that need separate approval wait for your yes, and you can stop a task at any point from the Task Center.
How do I change or delete a window layout?
Ask “List my window layouts” to hear what is saved. To change one, arrange your windows and save again under the same name. You can also say “Rename my Writing layout to Focus” or “Delete my Writing layout.”
Layouts remember window positions, not documents or browser tabs. Rocky opens missing installed apps and restores the windows it can identify on your current desktop. Some apps limit how their windows can be resized.
Which Macs does it run on?
Apple silicon Macs on macOS 14 or later. Sign in to Rocky, then follow setup for microphone and Input Monitoring access for global shortcuts. Accessibility and Screen Recording enable actions and screen context when needed. You can revoke permissions in System Settings. Read the setup guide.
What stays on my Mac?
Transcription and speech can both run on device. Your Library, clipboard history and saved window layouts are stored locally. Content needed for a spoken or typed request follows your selected mode and privacy settings. The privacy page explains what leaves your Mac and when.
Is it finished?
Not yet — Rocky is still in beta, and it updates often. If something is broken or missing, tell us; that is how the list of what to build next gets written.
